Associate Professor Nigel Hope specialises in minimally invasive meniscal surgery as well as arthroscopy, patient-specific knee joint replacement and anterior approach joint replacement.

Dr Hope performs all knee procedures tourniquet-free to help prevent post-operative bruising and damage, and has a special interest in the “Female Knee” – which looks at the biomechanics and hormonal issues related to knee conditions Dr Hope is conveniently located next to the Queen Victoria Building in the city centre, and also operates at the SAN.

He is a Lecturer in Orthopaedics at the University of Notre Dame and a popular GP and media commentator. With a focus on surgery only when necessary, Dr Hope provides his patients with holistic compassionate care and exceptional non-surgical and surgical outcomes.
